Management
The Master's degree offers in-depth study in core subjects that enable the acquisition of comprehensive knowledge of management, including for the needs of senior management positions. Studying for a Master's degree in the external form is suitable as a form of personal and personal development for employed or entrepreneurial people with ambitions to improve or supplement their knowledge.
The Master's degree at FM UK lasts for two years (four semesters) and is for students who have obtained a Bachelor's degree and have been accepted for a Master's degree. It is completed by a state examination, which includes the defence of the thesis.
In the management degree programme, students choose one of the following trajectories: Financial Management, Financial Analysis of Investments, Marketing, Digital Management and Online Marketing, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Applied Digital Management, Data Analytics in Management.
Prospects of graduates
Based on the acquired knowledge and practical experience, our graduates will be able to analyse the external and internal environment and trends within them, accordingly identify business opportunities and design strategies for their development within new as well as existing businesses, their implementation, as well as measuring their impact on the company and its surroundings, in terms of economic, environmental and social sustainability, as well as ethical responsibility.
These skills, essential for the performance of senior managerial, entrepreneurial and professional functions in organizations of different sizes, will be acquired through the practical application of the acquired theoretical knowledge, the development of communication and analytical skills, as well as in the process of linking theoretical and methodological teaching with the practical solution of assignments from specific start-up as well as established national and international companies.
Our students and graduates acquire during their studies the ability to formulate, present and defend their own ideas in front of practitioners (also in English). At the same time, they are able to apply some of the advanced research techniques in strategy, business and management in a way that enables them to acquire new information.

The basic condition for the admission of an applicant to the study programme of the second degree of the university, which results from the provision of Section 56 (3) of the Higher Education Act as amended, is the completion of the first degree study programme (completed bachelor's degree) or the second degree university education (comprehensive master's or engineering studies).
Additional information
Applicants for studies at the Faculty of Management Comenius University Bratislava will use the electronic application form via the UK Electronic Application Portal (https://e-prihlaska.uniba.sk/) or the AIS2 system, from which they will also receive payment instructions. The electronic application form does not need to be printed.
Conditions for international students
The condition for the admission of foreigners (including compatriots) who have completed their previous studies abroad is the demonstration of the necessary eligibility in the same way as in the case of citizens of the Slovak Republic, which follows from the provisions of Section 56(3) of the Higher Education Act. The applicant shall submit a document on recognition of education - Decision on recognition of the document on education in accordance with Act No 422/2015 Coll. on recognition of documents on education and on recognition of professional qualifications and on amendment and supplementation of certain acts, as amended.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
Graduates of the full-time Bachelor's degree at FM UK and graduates of interdisciplinary study programmes provided in cooperation with FM UK will be admitted without an entrance examination. For other applicants, the study average for the bachelor's degree (or comprehensive master's or engineering degree) after rounding to one decimal place up to 1.8 will be taken into account; for students from the fields of study Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Cybernetics, who have had courses in economics and management during their previous studies at the university, the average up to 2.0 will be taken into account.
The students will be admitted to the University of Economics and Management.

The entrance exam is oral through a videoconference call in Slovak language in front of the committee (interview on professional topics of economics, finance, management, marketing, business), where the applicant also demonstrates his/her knowledge of the English language.
