Manažérstvo leteckej dopravy

The graduate of the study programme Air Transport Management will gain knowledge about aviation technology, the principles of leading work teams, will learn the necessary legislative and legal norms and economic contexts, will learn to use information technology. The study is aimed at acquiring knowledge enabling to solve routine technological and economic problems of air transport. The graduate will be familiar with the basic methods of planning, organising and managing the work process and will acquire basic knowledge of business, economics and management in air transport. As the study programme is designed to provide a sufficiently broad foundation in management, economics, law and computer science, it creates the prerequisites for its graduates to be successful in other sectors as well. After graduation, graduates may choose to go into practice or pursue further engineering studies.



Prospects of graduates

Graduates of the degree programme can be employed as airline or airport staff and their degree is suitable for:

- roles as transport technicians in civil aviation and other modes of transport, logistics, public administration or security forces,

- positions in airline operations, airport operations and facilities, as well as in organisations carrying out special aeronautical work,

- managerial positions requiring a broad knowledge base in management, economics, law and computer science in aviation, other modes of transport and other sectors,

A candidate for bachelor studies at TUKE may apply for only one study programme on one application form. In case of non-acceptance to the selected study programme, the applicant may be offered another study programme.
