Catholic theology

Prospects of graduates

A graduate of the Master's degree program will be ordained as a Roman Catholic priest. His assignment and application in society is decided by his own Ordinary (diocesan bishop or religious superior); as a priest in pastoral ministry, he is dedicated to the spiritual formation of the people in the community entrusted to him. Ordained priests as well as graduate laymen may devote themselves to teaching religious education in primary and secondary schools, or, after completing their third degree, to lecturing on theological disciplines in universities, or as members of ecclesiastical tribunals (church courts - judges, notaries, advocates); they find their employment in the spiritual editorial offices of the mass media, as members of various commissions of the Catholic Church, as well as in other professions requiring a broad outlook on the humanities.
