Informatics
The graduates of the study programme Informatics, 3rd degree, obtain the PhD degree and consolidate the knowledge and skills acquired at the master's study from the perspective of scientific research, i.e. they learn to apply the methods of scientific research mainly in the field of their specialization. Graduates are able to theoretically analyse complex systems, formulate problems in an exact way, create mathematical and logical formalism for solving problems, and find effective solutions to problems formulated in this way. The student is able to work in teams that do not have a computer science orientation, he/she is able to synthesize knowledge from different areas and also to discover new knowledge. The graduate has a deep knowledge in the field of the studied problem.
