Economic and business ethics
A graduate of the study programme in economic and business ethics within the field of study philosophy will find employment in several directions. Closely aligned with the study programme is the employment in job 2633001 Philosopher, where the graduate will find employment in a number of job roles. The knowledge, skills and competences of the graduate of the study programme in question predispose him/her to work as a mediator, ethical advisor, in the field of creating ethical codes, in the private sector, in the public administration, in the third sector, in the field of education, in the field of state administration, etc. He is also applicable in similar positions, such as ethics manager of lower management levels, ethics officer who supervises the real implementation of the code of ethics in the organization, as a specialized employee for applied ethics, as a supervisor of compliance with human rights in various areas of the economy, public and state administration, etc. He also has competencies that predispose him to teamwork also in lower management positions within companies.
The field of Human Resource Management is also open to the eventuality of employment of a graduate of the Economic and Business Ethics programme. There are opportunities for employment as an HR manager in both the private and public spheres of the economy. There is also the possibility of working in ethics committees of various organisations (non-profit companies, hospitals, educational institutions, editorial boards, etc.). In these positions, graduates are able to define and argue the identification of certain ethically relevant situations and outline how to resolve them. He/she has the ability to communicate the ethical issues arising with various stakeholders. Can positively shape the organisational culture in terms of its positive ethical development within the management team.
The graduate can also work in the areas of lower management, public relations, educational institutions, foundations, etc. Employment in positions that monitor social and ethical phenomena as a counselor, specialist, coach of various ethics programs, etc.
It is thus an employment in the following positions: within the national system of professions in the position of philosopher (2633001), specialist in the field of education and development of human resources (2424000) and advisor to the management of a non-profit organization, foundation and non-investment fund (1114004). Specifically, within the European Classification of Skills, Competences and Occupations, ESCOs can be employed in particular as Corporate Social Responsibility Manager (1219.2).

The qualification obtained by the graduate of the study programme will enable him/her to participate fully in the exercise of several professions, in particular:
- ethics officer in various institutions (ethics officer, member of the ethics committee, etc.),
- worker in the field of education and human resources, personnel manager of lower management level,
- worker of educational institutions, foundations, non-profit organizations, organizations created by civil society in the position of education, monitoring of social and ethical phenomena,
- worker and junior manager in the field related to the social responsibility of organizations.
The graduation from the study program should ensure the availability of knowledge, skills and competencies that the graduate will capitalize, especially in the following contexts:
- implementation of ethical tools in the organizational culture of companies, evaluation of ethically relevant situations in the work processes of organizations,
- conduct trainings, seminars and similar events with ethical themes for various organizations,
- human resource management at the lower organizational level, personnel management of the human resource area,
- value assessment, consulting, participation in the ethical management of the procedural aspect of CSR in organizations.

The admission procedure begins with the delivery of a duly completed application form with the relevant attachments to the address of the school.
- Applicants for studies at the first level of university studies are admitted on the basis of an assessment of the results achieved in secondary school.
- Applicants for studies at the second level of university studies are admitted on the basis of the results of the admission procedure.

Conditions for international students
Conditions for admission of foreign applicants are identical to those for citizens of the Slovak Republic. In this case, the motivational interview also includes verification of Slovak language skills.
