Fyzikálne inžinierstvo

The graduate of the postgraduate course "Physical Engineering" will acquire in-depth theoretical and methodological knowledge and practical experience of physical processes in various environments with an orientation towards the properties of materials and the processes occurring in them, which are the object of scientific research or development at the level of the current state of research. The graduate will be able to analyse and solve complex and non-standard problems in the field of physical engineering and to provide original solutions as well as to follow scientific and research trends in his/her own field.



Prospects of graduates

The graduate will be able to creatively apply the acquired knowledge not only in his/her own field, but also in various branches of science, research, industry and services in the public and private sectors. In addition to the theoretical knowledge mentioned above, the graduate of the third cycle of the university studies of Physical Engineering will acquire the following additional knowledge, abilities and skills: - be able to lead small and large teams of scientific, research and development personnel, lead large projects and take responsibility for complex solutions to scientific and research problems, - be able to keep abreast of the latest scientific and research trends in his/her own field and to supplement and update his/her knowledge through lifelong learning, - learn the principles of managerial work, designing an experiment with a time schedule, leading and controlling team members, - be able to communicate and cooperate with scientific project managers and specialists from other professions, - apply the legal, social, moral, ethical, economic and environmental aspects of their profession in their work.
