Physics

Prospects of graduates

Graduates from the study programme in the field of physics are well prepared when it comes to language skills (especially English is a natural requirement) and thanks to the quality and content of education, they can apply their knowledge globally. After graduating from the study programme in the field of physics, graduates have no problems applying their knowledge in the field or using the acquired knowledge in related fields.

The most typical examples of work of physicists are:

basic research (Slovak Academy of Sciences, international research centers, world and home centers of science) after graduation from the Bachelor's degree only in a team under the leadership of experienced experts

developmental laboratoriesbanking (data processing, statistical analysis,  computer centers..)

healthcare institutions (attendance of healthcare technology such as X-rays, linear facilitators, processing and visualisation of data…)

environmental facilities

hydrometeorologic stations (observers...)

observatories (observers) hygienic stations (take-off and analysis of samples on radioactivity, environmental protection, radiation protection …)

manufacturing companies

geophysical observatories and stations
