Electrical Power Engineering

Electrical Power Engineering Master's degree program prepares qualified and creative experts in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on power electrical engineering. The study program develops the ability to analyze and understand the processes occurring in electrical and electronic engineering. Successfully implementation of graduate student of program Electrical Power Engineering in praxis are their knowledge obtained in the field of the design, operation and management of electrical systems (electrical machines and apparatus, drives and power electronics), electricity system (generation, station, distribution and transmission systems) and the light-producing devices and systems. Besides the possibility of graduates in the electrical engineering practice, study program prepares graduates for study the programs of the third degree of power electrical and electrical engineering or other related study programs.

Electrical Power Master's degree program is designed so that every graduate of this program will obtain the required theoretical knowledge, practical experience and skills in the sense defined by the graduate profile. Project works, either explicitly or implicitly expressed in the curriculum, require the students to apply their theoretical knowledge and practical skills as a whole. Graduate finds application in the electrotechnical industry, particularly in the power electrical engineering practice. He will be able to work in the companies whose activities are related to the production of electricity, construction, operation and design of electricity equipment and systems, operation and the design of light-producing devices and systems and increasing the energy efficiency and reducing the energy intensity of power electrical equipment and systems.
