Electrical Power Engineering
Bachelor study programme Electrical Engineering consists of fundamentals of natural sciences (mathematics and physics) followed by subjects focused on electrical engineering – circuit and electromagnetic fields theory, electromagnetic compatibility, electronic circuits, power electronics, materials, microcomputers and programming, measurement, automated systems, electric machines, power electronics and energy sources. Student also acquires a basic knowledge on economics and management. The study leads to practical application of the acquired knowledge in autonomous solution of a particular problem in a bachelor thesis.
Prospects of graduates
Graduates are capable of design, implementation, operation and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems in all types of companies. They can also continue in master study.
