Business Economics and Management
Graduates from the second-level study programme Business Economics and Management will obtain knowledge and skills in general management, which are based on the latest scientific achievements and on the practices of leading corporations and businesses in Slovakia and worldwide. After finishing their studies, graduates can fill junior management positions and can be promoted into higher management level positions after a certain time. Graduates will also be able to lead individual departments of businesses in the following fields: economy and finances, marketing and sales, production and logistics, planning and strategy. Graduates from the second-level programme can also find employment abroad and in an international environment. They will become general managers, who can coordinate and integrate activities. They will have an authority to make decisions and will be able to lead businesses to achieve their objectives.

The basic condition for admission is a first-level academic degree obtained in a study programme from the subgroup of courses 3.3 Economics and Management or 8.1.1 Tourism.
Another condition for admission to Master’s degree programmes is the submission of a signed application form to the address of the faculty along with the further required documents attached (CV, and, in the case of candidates graduated from other higher education institutions, a certified photocopy of the bachelor’s diploma and state exam certificate, as well as a photocopy of the diploma supplement) no later than 10 working days after the deadline for filing the application.
Applicants to master's degree programmes must also prove their ability to communicate in Hungarian or Slovak language.
Applicants are ranked on the basis of the weighted arithmetic average of their marks obtained at state exams. In case of identical average values, the weighted average of marks obtained during first-level academic studies will apply.
Decisions on the admission of candidates are made by the Dean of the faculty. A notice of acceptance/non-acceptance will be delivered to applicants by registered post. In case of a low number of applicants for a study programme, the faculty (following the Dean's decision) reserves the right not to open a study programme and to offer candidates another course, if possible.

Conditions for international students
The requirements for admission of foreign students are the same as the requirements of admission for citizens of the Slovak Republic. The completion of a first-level academic course in a foreign country must be certified and recognised in the Slovak Republic. The recognition of degrees and diplomas is regulated by Sections 33-35 and 39 of Act no. 422/2015. Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
Admission to second-level study programmes is without entrance exams. Applicants must fill in the application form and submit it within the deadline.

In accordance with Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on higher education and on amendments and supplements to certain acts as amended, the basic requirement for admission to the second-level study programme is the successful completion of a first-level study programme. Admission to second-level study programmes is without entrance exams. Applicants must fill in the application form and submit it within the deadline.
