Applied Informatics and Automation in Industry
The graduate will have knowledge of automation and informatics and will be able to use it in the implementation of computer-based systems. He/she will have knowledge of mechanical engineering technological disciplines, the natural science basis of automation and computerisation, the basics of diagnostics, data collection, processing and transmission. They will have a good knowledge of programming and experience in the use of computer modelling and simulation tools, programming and operation of automatic measurement, control and information systems. He/she will find employment in the implementation, operation and maintenance of control and information systems for the management of technological processes and data processing in various industries and in the non-industrial sphere.
Prospects of graduates
The graduate is prepared for practical employment in industry and services. The graduate has the ability to creatively seek and find solutions, implement and operate information technology systems and also work independently or as part of a team to analyze automation and information needs as well as the implementation and operation of automation technology and information technology in management systems. He/she has basic managerial, economic, legal, environmental and ethical awareness and can apply it in the exercise of the profession.

Bachelor study is offered only in Slovak language. The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU), Institute of Lifelong Learning (ILL STU), Language Centre ILL STU has organised for foreign students who study at the faculties of the University in Slovak language the Intensive Slovak Language Courses.
The applicant, who is the citizen of the Slovak Republic graduated from the secondary school abroad as well as the applicant who is not the citizen of the Slovak Republic and is interested in the university study, is obliged to apply for the secondary education recognition in compliance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic https://www.minedu.sk/academic-recognition-of-diplomas/

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
Students are admitted to the study without entrance examination.
Documents for the Application form:
• signed curriculum vitae,
• certified grades from high school report (in e- application form) and certified copies of high school reports with Apostille/Superlegalization,
• certified copy of high school leaving report with Apostille/Superlegalization,
• nostrification of high school leaving report,
• conversion of marks from study on secondary schools abroad,
• the confirmation of the payment of the application fee.
