A graduate of the FSEV UK in the study programme Applied Economics will be professionally prepared to work at the level of supra-enterprise and top-level links of economic and political management and public administration. A characteristic feature of his/her profile will be knowledge of economics and political theory, proficiency in information and communication technologies and analytical and mathematical-statistical tools necessary for rigorous analysis and interpretation of specific economic and social problems of society.

During their studies, graduates will learn to work in the environment of senior administrative links of departmental management and, where possible, in the environment of international organizations; they will master detailed information about their structure and mission and learn to communicate and cooperate effectively with these organizations or their executive bodies and substructures. These skills will enable them to apply for jobs in national, governmental and non-governmental organisations working at the interface between domestic and international environments. Graduates will be able to competitively apply for jobs in international organisations and in the diplomatic service of the Slovak Republic.
