Analytical Chemistry

The study program instigates principles of scientific work, scientific formularization of problem and coupling between research - development - application - interpretation, ethical and social issues of scientific work, presentation and publication of results in the field of analytical chemistry science. The graduate knows the methodology of scientific work particularly directed to problem oriented fields (trace and ultra trace analysis in complex samples, speciation analysis, analysis of chiral compounds, etc.), to application fields (analysis of materials, environmental analysis, pharmaceutical analysis, etc.) and to methodology fields (separation methods, identification and detection methods, spectral methods, electroanalytical methods, bioanalytical methods, etc.).

The graduate is able to work with complex experimental equipments and computer systems, has practical knowledge on data treatment, in preparation and presentation of publications on research results. The graduate has experience at formulation of partial tasks of the research, team leading and pedagogical work.

Prospects of graduates

The graduate is prepared for independent creative scientific and research work. He can find the work in research and development of analytical methods for technical materials, environmental control, food quality control, for analysis of samples of biological origin. Complex character of the graduate profile represents a basis for his future non-problematic activity in all fields of production, technology and process control.
