Project annotation in Slovak language

V dôsledku klimatickej zmeny dochádza k narušeniu kolobehu vody na Zemi. Voda sa stáva vzácnym artiklom, ale aj deštrukčným činiteľom. Súčasné trendy vo využívaní krajiny spôsobujú na jednej strane, že prichádzame o vzácne zdroje pitnej vody, na strane druhej, narušením jej kolobehu ohrozujú ľudstvo povodne, aridizácia rozsiahlych území a strata produkčnej schopnosti pôd. Výsledkom je ohrozenie potravinovej bezpečnosti a degradácia krajiny. Systém voda a pôda je úzko prepojený a stav pôdy môže vplývať na zadržiavanie vody v krajine, a tým aj následnej eliminácii mnohých negatívnych javov vyplývajúcich z vplyvu klimatickej zmeny na kolobeh vody v krajine. Uvedená problematika sa dotýka viacerých predmetov vyučovaných na všetkých troch stupňoch vysokoškolského štúdia FAPZ SPU v Nitre a FHPV Prešov, ktorých nosnou témou je pôda. Cieľom projektu je inkorporácia najnovších poznatkov súvisiacich so zadržiavaním vody v pôde do výučby predmetov, predovšetkým tých, ktoré sa stali súčasťou inovovaných študijných programov v rámci poslednej akreditácie. Ako v prípade obsahovej náplne predmetov, tak aj jednotlivých tém, bude zabezpečená ich určitá nadväznosť v jednotlivých stupňoch štúdia. Tematika sa musí stať nielen súčasťou vzdelávania mladých ľudí, ale najnovšie poznatky sa musia dostať do praxe, preto sú súčasťou projektu aj záverečné práce realizované v konkrétnych výrobných podmienkach. K zvýšeniu dostupnosti informácií by mali prispieť učebnice sumarizujúce najnovšie informácie o vode v poľnohospodárskej krajine,  vytvorenie e-kurzu v systéme LMS Moodle a zavedenie „WSL diskusie“, tzv. diskusných popoludní, na ktorých by sa mohli študenti vyjadriť k téme, diskutovať s odborníkmi v danej oblasti.

Project annotation in English language

As a result of climate change, the water cycle on the Earth is disrupted. Water becomes a valuable article, but also a destructive factor. Current trends in landscape use cause, on the one hand, that we are losing valuable sources of drinking water, on the other hand, by disrupting its cycle, the floods, aridization of large areas and loss of the productive ability of the soil threaten humanity. The result is a threat to food security and landscape degradation. The water and soil systems are closely connected and the condition of the soil can affect water retention in the landscape, and thus the subsequent elimination of many negative phenomena resulting from the influence of climate change on the water cycle in the landscape. The mentioned issue relates with several subjects teaching at all three degrees of higher education at the SUA FAFR in Nitra and UP FHNS, in which the main topic is soil. The aim of the project is incorporation of the latest knowledge related to water retention in the soil into teaching subjects, mainly those, which became a part of the innovated study programs within the last accreditation. Both in the case of the content of the subjects and individual topics, their certain continuity will be ensured in individual degrees of the study. The issue must become not only a part of the education of young people, but the latest knowledge must get into practice, therefore the final theses, which are a part of the project, will be realized in specific production conditions. The textbooks summarizing the latest information about the water in the agricultural landscape, the creation of e-course in the LMS Moodle system, and the introducing of the “WSL discussion”, so called discussion afternoons, where the students would be commented on the topic or would discuss with experts in the given area, should be contribute to increasing the availability of information.
