The main objective
The Slovak Economic Association (SEA) is soliciting papers for its 2018 annual conference, to be held at the Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, September 21-22, 2018. This year's edition commemorates the 100th anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia, 25th anniversary of Slovakia's independence, and 25th anniversary of the creation of the Slovak koruna. Research papers from all fields of economics are welcome.

For organizational reasons we must ask you to REGISTER as soon as possible, but certainly not later than July 30.
The registration is necessary both if you have already submitted your paper, or would like to register as a passive participant.
This is a hard deadline, and only those papers whose authors have registered will appear on the program.
The registration fee is € 100.
The conference fee will be reduced to € 50 for members of the Slovak Economic Association and waived for PhD students and institutional members. The fee is due by July 30, 2018; please find the payment details below. Please do not forget to indicate your name in payment details, so that we can identify your payment. The receipt will be provided at the registration desk.
SEAAward for Young Economists:
The Slovak Economic Association will award a prize of 500 EUR to the best paper authored by economist(s) up to 35 years of age. In case of joint papers, all co-authors have to fulfil thiscondition. Only papers presented at the conference will be considered for the Award. Authors who wish to be considered for the SEA Award for Young Economists must indicate this in the submission process.
Passive Participation:
You are welcome to attend the conference as a non-presenting participant. In this case you can still take part in our scientific and social program, without presenting your own research. Please register HERE. The organizers reserve the right to restrict the number of participants due to capacity constraints.
