Reflections of theory and practice on issues of public policy and public administration, law, social work and international relations

The aim of the conference is to analyse the processes of implementing legislative, executive and judicial power in state administration and local self-government based on theoretical foundations and practical experience, taking into account the theory of public administration, public policy, public economy, social work and administrative law. At the same time, the ambition is to identify and propose solutions to current and future challenges in these areas in the conditions of the Slovak Republic and other countries. A partial aim is to create a platform for professional discussion and exchange of knowledge between experts from the academic sphere, the public and non-profit sectors, researchers and policy makers in the areas of public policy, public administration, law, social work and international relations. The intention is also to support interdisciplinary cooperation and the formulation of recommendations for practice and legislation that would contribute to the development of the aforementioned areas. Given the growing polarization, geopolitical tension, and regional military conflicts, exacerbated by escalating factors, the thematic focus is also oriented towards reflecting on the security, political, and legal aspects of international conflicts and crises.
