Open Source Software in Education, Research and IT Solutions (OSSConf)

The Faculty of Management and Informatics of the University of Žilina in cooperation with the Society for Open Information Technologies (SOIT) and the associations CSTUG, Česká statistická společnost, Geokomunita invite you to the 13th annual conference OSSConf 2025

The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for information about new developments in open source software and open technologies, the possibilities of using these tools in science and education and also to provide a space for informal friendly meeting of users and supporters of open information technologies.

 OSSConf 2025 will also include a Missing Maps mapathon Žilina on the first day of the conference.

Important dates
Peer-reviewed papers: until 1 June 2025.
Abstracts of non-peer-reviewed presentations: until 15 June 2025.

Proceedings
The proceedings will be published on the occasion of the conference. Contributions from authors are accepted either as unreviewed papers, of which we publish only the abstract, or as peer-reviewed papers, which will be considered by two independent reviewers.
