The main objective
DIDFYZ is a well-established international conference that has been held since 1977. In 2019, it will be 21st meeting.
The conference will include invited lectures, oral presentations, and discussions on specialized topics. The objective of the conference is to discuss the results of academic research and exchange invaluable experiences in the field of physics education.
The conference is organized by the Department of Physics, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia.

1. Formation of the natural-science image of the world in the 21st century
- From reality to a model and its physical interpretations.
- Experiment in the cognitive process of natural science subjects.
- Selection and creation of models, respecting empirical and theoretical cognitive practices, especially the inclusion of new knowledge in the system and its application and use in practice.
- Transfer of knowledge into practice and verification of the pupil′s ability to use new knowledge in real life, etc.
- Selection of experiments with respect to age and curriculum and its inclusion in pupils′ learning process (real or model experiment and their combination).
- The scope and content of the term „model in Physics”.
2. Relationships and co-ordination of natural science subjects from Physics point of view
- Possibilities of integration of natural science knowledge (internal or external-intersubject coordination or integration) and their arrangement.
- Terminology, its unification, or coordination, methods and possibilities of realization of proposals between natural science subjects.
- Different approach to new knowledge at different levels and types of schools in Slovakia and abroad.
- What kind of science-based image of the world should have a graduate of elementary school and a grammar school graduate?
