Conditions of admission

The basic requirements for admission to bachelor study are to obtain full secondary education or full secondary vocational education.

Another requirement for admission to Bachelor's degree programs is the delivery of the signed application form to the faculty with all the required attachments (structured curriculum vitae, notary certified exam photocopy of graduation certificate – excluding the final leaving certificate of the applicant graduated in the relevant school year) no later than 10 working days after the deadline for filing the application.

The rank of admitted candidates will be determined by the average of their result of their final leaving examination.

The admission of the candidates is decided by the Dean of EF UJS. Notice of acceptance / rejection will be delivered by a registered letter posted to the applicants. In the case of a low number of applicants for a study program, the Faculty (in the Dean's decision) reserves the right not to open a study program and, according to the possibilities of the Faculty, offer the participants possibility to continue their studies in another study program at UJS.

Additional information

- The primary language of the Faculty of Economics at J. Selye University is the Hungarian language.

- The tuition fees are specified by internal regulations of the university.

Conditions for international students

The requisites for admission of foreign students are the same as the requisites of admission for the citizens of the Slovak Republic. The completion of secondary education in any foreign country must be certified. Recognition of evidence of education is regulated by Sections 33-39 of Act no. 422/2015 Coll. on the recognition of evidence of education and on the recognition of professional qualifications and on the amendment of certain laws. Admission of applicants to the first stage of study is carried out without entrance examinations. The condition of admission is to file a completed application for university studies within a specified time.

The basic condition for admission to bachelor study program is to obtain full secondary education or full secondary vocational education according to Act no. 131/2002 on Universities and on the amendment of some laws. Admission of applicants for the first level of study is carried out without admission tests. The condition of admission is to file a completed application for university studies within a specified time.
