Physiotherapy
The aim of students' educational activity in the second stage of higher education is to acquire and expand knowledge in the field of robotic rehabilitation, virtual rehabilitation, telerehabilitation. Other objectives are the education of basic aspects of sports for the physically handicapped, the methodology of the development of motor skills in physiotherapy, special methodologies in neurology, orthopaedics, surgery, traumatology, gynaecology, paediatrics and internal medicine. They master the basic methodological procedures in occupational therapy, management in physiotherapy, in the organization of health care, insurance, and in the social field.

Additional information
There are two study programmes accredited at the Faculty of Physiotherapy in the first cycle of higher education in full-time and external form in the study programme Physiotherapy and in the study programme Radiological Technology. In the second level of higher education there is an accredited study programme Physiotherapy in full-time and part-time form. The third level of higher education of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava is provided in the study programme Physiotherapy in full-time and part-time form from AR 2022/2023.
The study is carried out under the guidance of experienced lecturers, external lectures are also given by top experts from other institutions. Practical teaching takes place in contracted medical facilities, e.g. in Piešt'any, Trnava, Bratislava, Kováčová and others. In addition to studying, students have the opportunity to engage in scientific activities, participate in professional congresses and symposia, and complete foreign internships. FZV organizes, supports social and sports activities of students.

The same admission conditions and good knowledge of the Slovak language apply to foreign students.

The applicants' ranking of success will be based on the weighted average of the state exam results.
The Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education UCM in Trnava decides about the admission to the study.
An unaccepted applicant may submit a request to the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education UCM for a review of the decision within 8 days from its delivery.
