Physiotherapy
A graduate of the bachelor's study program Physiotherapy will be employed in hospital and polyclinic facilities, spa treatment facilities, in specialized medical and rehabilitation institutes, other facilities that provide preventive and curative health care, or health protection and support. The graduate has the prerequisites for further university, specialization and continuous education.

- completed secondary education or a full secondary vocational education;
- medical fitness for university studies in the medical field of study and for the exercise of the relevant medical profession;
- successful completion of the entrance exam;
- entrance examination: successful completion of a biology test in the scope of secondary school curriculum (minimum 40 points) and verification of physical abilities, which consists of swimming, athletic disciplines, gymnastics. Non-participation in the verification of physical abilities in all disciplines is considered as non-compliance with the conditions of the admission procedure;
- those candidates who obtain the highest number of points for the entrance examination will be admitted.

Conditions for international students
The conditions of admission are identical to the conditions of admission of Slovak students.
Applicants who have completed secondary school studies abroad (except for documents obtained in the Czech Republic) will submit, in addition to the mandatory attachments, the original or a certified copy of the decision on recognition of education certificates issued to the applicant by the relevant district office, Department of Education. This decision will be submitted by the candidate at the entrance examination.

o The medical confirmation of general health and the ability to study at the university level in the healthcare field of study and for the performance of a profession in the selected study programme (in the prescribed form).

- Applicants for studies can also send an application in paper version (in the prescribed application form – ŠEVT form). The application must be written legibly in blue ink and sent with the copies of the required documents directly to the faculty of healthcare.
- Officially certified copies of the End of Year School Report for the 4th grade and the School-Leaving Examination Certificate, the original medical confirmation of general health and the ability to study at the university level in the healthcare field of study and for the performance of the profession in the selected study programme must be submitted no later than on the day of the entrance exam.
- The registered applicants who fail to deliver all the required documents within the specified deadline, will be assumed to have declined the offer to study at the faculty.

Tests
Written exam
The test is focused on biology in the scope of secondary school curriculum. There are 50 questions in the test, one answer is correct, for each correct answer the candidate gets 2 points, for the whole test he can get a maximum of 100 points.
For the verification of physical abilities for the study, the applicant can get 10 points for each discipline, together he / she can get a maximum of 40 points.

Verification of physical abilities for study
1. Gymnastics: Exercises on a 12-meter gymnastic belt or a belt made of mats. The candidate is obliged to compile and properly practice a gymnastic set from the elements listed below. There must be at least 5 elements in the set. Gymnastic elements: forward weight, turns, tip spikes, forward roll, back roll, forward roll, back roll, shoulder stand, head stand, hand stand, side throw , two throws sideways in custody, throws forward, throws back, somersault forward, somersault backward.
(Example of a gymnastic set: weight forward, standing up, roll forward, jump with a turn of 180 ° and arms frontal rings outwards, standing up, extension on tiptoes, standing backwards on the shoulders.
Scoring: for each correctly trained element, the candidate will receive 2 points, maximum number of points – 10
2. Swimming: The applicant is obliged to swim a distance of 50 meters in any swimming manner. Scoring: maximum number of points 10 (Tab. 1)

3. Athletics:
3.1 4x10-meter shuttle run: The specified 10-meter section is marked with cones on both sides. The exerciser from the half-height start (both legs are behind the starting line and without the use of a block) runs as fast as possible from one cone to the other. Points are earned over time to the nearest tenth of a second. Restarting in case of a failed start or failure of the cone is not allowed. The candidate is obliged to pass the test within the limit of 15 seconds. Scoring: maximum number of points 10 (Tab. 2)
