Business Management/Master of Business Administration
Students of VŠM have a unique opportunity to study a joint Master's degree programme in Business Management in combination with the MBA program of the City University of Seattle from the academic year 2014/2015. This program, unique in Slovakia, is a combination of two accredited study programs. After two years of study, successful graduates will receive two diplomas - a Master's degree in Business Management and an MBA diploma from the American City University of Seattle.
The Mgr/MBA program is suitable for candidates with a good command of the English language who aspire to middle and senior management positions in the private or public sphere.
Prospects of graduates
The scope of study of the joint study program creates a combination of the best of both (Mgr and MBA) programmes and focuses on the acquisition and development of management competencies and skills, including communication skills, management, marketing, finance, or information systems. The joint study program is an ideal program for those who plan to apply the acquired knowledge and competences in an international business environment.

1. Duly completed application form
2. Completion of an accredited university degree at least at the Bachelor's level, which the student proves by a certified copy of the diploma and an official transcript of grades for the entire course of study (Diploma Supplement) - both documents must be officially translated into English.
3. Evidence of the required level of English language proficiency by one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university recognized by City University of Seattle in an English-speaking country (U.S., Canada, Australia, Great Britain, New Zealand, and Ireland) where English was the language of instruction and a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 was achieved
- TOEFL certificate (TOEFL paper based 567, TOEFL internet based 87)
- University of Cambridge - C2 ALTE Level 5 (Certificate in English Proficiency)
- Academic IELTS - Overall score of 6.5 (International English Language Testing System)
- DuoLingo test
- Successful completion of the English language entrance test at the school (English language admission test)
