Laboratory Testing Methods in Health Care
The study program is aimed at preparation of qualified medical workers who are qualified
to carry out laboratory testing methods related to health care. In addition to acquirement of theoretical knowledge and findings in biomedical fields of the study program 7.4.3 the graduates shall gain practical skills in laboratory diagnostic routine and in operating contemporary devices in laboratories of clinical biochemistry, microbiology, haematology and transfusion, immunology and morbid anatomy. The graduates shall also command the legislative regulations related to their work, essential work with computer, the most fundamental issues of laboratory management. The graduates shall be qualified to assist the clinical experts in making a diagnosis of complicated patients and in indicating additional tests. The graduates shall also be qualified to participate in scientific research work and to present the results of their work during professional events.
Prospects of graduates
The graduates shall be qualified to perform laboratory testing methods mainly in the laboratories of clinical biochemistry, microbiology, haematology and transfusion, immunology and morbid anatomy in the state as well as in private health care facilities. They also may be employed in sanitary wards or health care research institutes.
After completion of practical training the graduates are qualified to continue their study in specialised programs to be a specialist in a specific branch of laboratory testing.

- doklad o zaplatení poplatku za prijímacie konanie, bez dokladu o zaplatení nebude prihláška zaregistrovaná (paper form)
- lekárske potvrdenie o zdravotnej spôsobilosti k vysokoškolskému štúdiu a výkonu povolania v danom študijnom odbore vrátane povinných očkovaní
- Vzhľadom na pokračovanie uzavretia vysokých škôl do odvolania si Vás dovoľujeme informovať, že k prihláškam na štúdium na Fakulte zdravotníctva KU v RK, aktuálne nie je potrebné dokladovať potvrdenie od lekára a overené vysvedčenia, tie dodáte po odvolaní
