Conditions for international students

Foreign applicants have the same conditions as the applicants from the Slovak Republic. They have to take part in and complete the Unit for Language and Preparatory Studies at the Comenius University in Bratislava (except for the applicants from the Czech Republic), they must take a Slovak language test at the entrance exams (except for the applicants from the Czech Republic, and for the applicants  interested in the study at Faculty of Applied Languages). The applicants who obtained a certificate of expats, i.e. of the Slovaks living abroad under a specific rule, are considered to be Slovak citizens.

Notice:

The University of Economics in Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as EU) accepts such an electronic enrolment form only which will be created in the Academic Information System (AIS2) of EU in Bratislava, not in the academic web portal (www.portalvs.sk). If the applicant uses an electronic enrolment form on the academic portal, he/she has to deliver it to EU in Bratislava in the printed form too, and pay the fee of €40 (without the claim to a reduced fee).

The electronic enrolment form, and the instructions how to fill it in will be published on the following site after January 1, 2015:

The fee for the admission procedures must be settled solely by the bank transfer (not by cheque). The transfer order to settle the payment in the bank is not a proof of payment for the entrance examination. The account statement, or a receipt that the payment is settled by internet banking can be acknowledged.
