Graduate Profile
The graduate has knowledge of the systemic contexts of social work theory and social policy not only in the domestic but also in the foreign context. He/she perceives the diversity as well as the complexity of social problems at different levels of social work practice. On the basis of the knowledge as well as practical experience gained during the studies, he/she is predisposed to work in the field of social planning, counselling, supervision, social management and sociotherapy.
Prospects of graduates
Social work graduates have the opportunity to enter the labour market as social workers with
competence to work in the social field within the public and state administration as well as
the third sector. The implementation and placement of social work graduates covers five
key ministries - the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family,
the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Health.

Basic Admission Requirements:
The basic condition for admission to the Master's programme is the completion of a single-subject Bachelor's degree in Social Work and the submission of a legally valid document (according to Section 56(2) of Act No. 131/2002 on Higher Education).
Applicants who do not fulfil the basic condition for admission by the specified date may be admitted to the study, provided that they are obliged to prove fulfilment of the basic condition no later than on the date set for enrolment in the study (pursuant to Section 58(1) of Act No 131/2002 on Higher Education Institutions).
