Craft and Book 2020

The conference is primarily intended for professionals, students of restoration and conservation, restoration and conservation technology, research and related fields (bookbinding, archives et al). The conference provides a possibility to share your experience and work results with other participants.

We mostly welcome proposals from experienced restorers and students. Participants will be given an opportunity for networking as well as meeting colleagues and friends.

• methods of conservation and restoration
• reversibility versus permanent treatment
• multidisciplinary cooperation
• research in the field of restoration and conservation science
• new technologies and techniques in restoration and conservation praxis
• ethical problems related to document preservation and restoration

Conference Fees

Conference fee VAT included (refund is not offered if any day of the conference is missed):

participant without presentation - 70 €
presenting participant * - 50 €
student under 24 - 0 €

* Reduced fee for participation in the conference pays only main presenter (autor). In the case of co-authors of presentation, the other co-authors pay the fees like participants without presentation.
The participant and student conference fees include: official rout, conference materials, refreshments, conference dinner.

Conference fee does not include travel and accommodation expenses.
The fee should be paid via wire transfer between January 1st and February 28th, 2020.

Registration deadlines:

- a presenting conference participant until December 31th, 2019

- a conference participant without a presentation until January 30th, 2020
