The Aerospace Technology study program is a program designed to reflect the latest trends in the dynamically evolving field of aerospace, where thousands of highly qualified and well-paid professionals are currently missing from the European market. This program gives graduates a chance to orientate themselves in the field of high-tech aerospace technologies, which are applicable in all industrial spheres, be it IT, automotive or electrical industry as well as various technological startups.Aviation is a leader in all these areas, and the aviation specialist can find his professional career in any of them. The program is based on modern standards in education in the aerospace area as is common at prestigious foreign universities with student profiling in either in the field of Avionics systems(electronic systems, radio systems and aircraft information systems) or Aircraft operations(design, operation, maintenance, airframe). aircraft systems).As part of the study program, students have the opportunity to work with modern technology, take part in interesting excursions, professional internships and practical trainingwith our partners. The program can also study as a cadet of the armed forces and work with the latest get educated in the areas of military aviation technology

Podmienky prijatia

For the applicant, the admission procedure starts with the delivery of their application to the faculty which is conducting the relevant study programme.

The Technical University of Košice (TUKE) accepts applications for the academic year 2024/2025 only in an electronic version. The applicant for the study at TUKE is no longer obligated to print the electronic application and to send it in a paper form by mail.

The new form of the Electronic Application was launched on November 13, 2018.

The application must be delivered in an electronic form without the advanced electronic signature using the TUKE Academic Information System (IS MAIS), which allows the study applicant to verify registration of the application in IS MAIS from the date of its submission to the last day of the admission procedure.

All attachments can be uploaded in .pdf format to IS MAIS (curriculum vitae, education certificates, school leaving certificate, proof of payment of the admission procedure fee and other attachments according to the faculty requirements).

Documents required from foreign applicants for admission procedure for the faculties of the Technical University of Košice

1st level of studies

a completed application for university studies of the first level
a certified copy of the completed secondary education with a certified translation into the Slovak language
the decision on recognition of completed education (validation) issued by the District Office Košice, Department of Education, Zádielska 1, 040 78 Košice
a certified copy of the transcript of records covering all the years of secondary education with a certified translation into Slovak. If the length of secondary education studies exceeds four years then a certified copy of transcript of records covering the last four years of study at secondary school is required
Curriculum Vitae in Slovak (or English, according to the language in which the applicant will study) signed by the applicant
a copy of passport
a proof of payment of the handling fee for the admission procedure (can be submitted to the Study department no later than the date of enrolment)
