The graduate of the master study program Aerospace Engineering in the study branch Transportation has a deep knowledge about the modern technical devices and equipmentused in the aerospace engineering, about the principles of their operation, about the operational conditions and maintenance of the aircraftsand space vehiclesand theirsafe utilization in theoperationalpractice.The graduatehas knowledge about the aircraftand spacecraftpropulsion systems, airframe and avionic systems in the context of comprehension of the application goal of the aerial vehicles. The graduateis also capable to consider functionality of the technical and computer aided equipment in the given conditions of the aviation or other manufacturers or repair services and specialized laboratories and also, the graduateis ableto communicate expertly with the aviation personnel. The graduateis capable to participate in the aircraft incidents and accidentsinvestigationand to propose arrangements to prevent similar accidents.Based on the acquired knowledge about the information systems the graduateis ableto use them at the national and also at the international level or to participate in their creation for the purposes of the particular aircraft or space operator, manufacturer or maintenance service.After the graduation the engineer hasthe appropriate management abilities focused on the management in thetechnicalareaof the aviation and space services, component design and utilization quality of the information technologies. The graduatehas capability to perform conceptual and co-ordination activity also at the international level. The graduate uses creativeapproachesto the solution of the problems with the interdisciplinary character based onthe advanced system procedures.The graduatecan analyze and propose theoretical and practical maintenance procedures applying the technical equipment and computer aided technologies for the specified tasks on the aircrafts, aviation equipment, in the manufacturing processes and in other aerospace devices.Based on the acquired knowledge with the interdisciplinary character the graduates can work in the area of development and realization of the new hardware and software products for the aerospace applications in the commercial practice and also in thearea ofthe new information systems’design.
