Anotácia originálnych výsledkov riešenia projektu v slovenskom jazyku
Technológie využívajúce spracovanie signálov s veľmi veľkou šírkou frekvenčného pásma (UWB, z ang. ultra wide-band) patria do oblasti pokročilých technológií, ktoré nachádzajú v súčasnosti celý rad aplikácií v takých oblastiach, ako je bezpečnosť a záchrana osôb (napr. monitorovanie objektov, detekcia a lokalizácia osôb za prekážkou (napr. za stenou) a pri požiari, detekcia a lokalizácia osôb pod sutinami budov a lavínami, atď.), zdravotnícka technika (neinvazívne metódy diagnostiky), vyhľadávanie objektov ukrytých pod povrchom zeme (napr. tzv. „ground penetrating" radary aplikované na vyhľadávanie mín, potrubí, atď.), bezdrôtové komunikácie (napr. vo vnútri budov), atď. S cieľom priblížiť budúcim odborníkom v oblasti elektroniky základné princípy týchto technológií s dôrazom na ich aplikácie zamerané na detekciu a lokalizáciu cieľov pohybujúcich sa v krátkom dosahu, bol navrhnutý a realizovaný projekt „Vývoj laboratórnej meracej aparatúry a multimediálnych e-vzdelávacích materiálov zameraných na podporu vzdelávania v oblasti UWB bezdrôtových senzorových sietí" (ďalej len „UWB-BSS"). Tento zámer projektu bol naplnený prípravou a zavedením nového predmetu "UWB bezdrôtové senzorové siete" do študijného programu inžinierskeho Infoelektronika poskytovaného na Technickej univerzite v Košiciach. V rámci riešenia projektu UWB-BSS boli vytvorené nasledujúce výstupy projektu:
- Boli navrhnuté ciele aosnova predmetu (prednášky, cvičenia) „UWB bezdrôtové senzorové siete" spracované vinformačnom liste predmetu.
- Na podporu teoretickej výučby predmetu „UWB bezdrôtové senzorové siete" boli vytvorené študijné texty Kocur, D.-Gamec, J.-Gamcová, M.-Rovňáková, J.-Urdzík, D.: UWB bezdrôtové senzorové siete. Technická univerzita vKošiciach, 2011, realizované formou elektronického vzdelávacieho materiálu.
- Na podporu praktickej výučby predmetu „UWB bezdrôtové senzorové siete" bol pripravený súbor meracích aparatúr aprístrojov umožňujúci realizovať merania sUWB radarmi aUWB radarovými senzorovými sieťami.
- Na podporu praktickej výučby predmetu „UWB bezdrôtové senzorové siete" bol navrhnutý súbor programových prostriedkov vprogramovacom prostredí MATLAB Rovňáková, J. -Švecová, M.- Kocur, D.: Toolbox KEGA-UWB-2011. Technická univerzita vKošiciach, Košice, december 2011 určený na spracovanie signálov získaných vUWB radarových sieťach saplikáciou na detekciu, lokalizáciu a sledovanie cieľov vkrátkom dosahu.
Predmet „UWB bezdrôtové senzorové siete", ktorý v plnej miere reflektuje súčasný stav rozvoja UWB technológií vo svete, bol pripravený na základe tvorivého vedeckého bádania a intenzívnej medzinárodnej spolupráce riešiteľského kolektívu projektu UWB-BSS. Vyššie uvedené výstupy projektu UWB-BSS budú primerane aplikované nielen v rámci predmetu „UWB bezdrôtové senzorové siete", ale aj v ďalších predmetoch, ktorých výučba je realizovaná na Technickej univerzite v Košiciach (predmety: Prenosové systémy s rozprestretým spektrom, Modelovanie prenosových kanálov, Vysokofrekvenčná a mikrovlná technika, atď.). Za najdôležitejší spoločenský prínos projektu UWB-BSS možno považovať zavedenie UWB technológií do vzdelávacieho procesu v rámci Slovenskej republiky, ako novej veľmi perspektívnej technológie s výrazným aplikačným potenciálom.
Anotácia originálnych výsledkov riešenia projektu v anglickom jazyku
Technologies based on ultra wide-band signal processing (hereinafter as „UWB") belong to the advanced technologies having a quit number of applications in the fields such as security and surveillance (e.g. object monitoring, through obstacles and through fire detection and localization of persons, detection and localization of trapped people under rubbles or snow after earthquake or an avalanche, etc.), medicine (methods of non-invasive diagnostics), searching of the objects hidden under the ground surface (e.g. ground penetrating radars applied for searching of mines and pipes), wireless communications (e.g. in-door), etc. With the intention to bring to the future experts in the field of electronics the UWB technology fundamentals with the stress on the short-range detection and localization of moving targets, the project Development of Measurement Apparatus and Multimedia e-Leraning Book Supporting Education in the Field of UWB Sensor Networks (hereinafter as „UWB-BSS") has been proposed and implemented. The project objectives have been filled by the preparation and implementation of the new subject „UWB Wireless Sensor Network" in the study program of Infoelectronics provided at Technical University of Košice. Within the UWB-BSS project, the following project outputs have been created:
- The fundamental aims and the outline of the subject „UWB Wireless Sensor Network" have been elaborated in the form of the Subject Information Sheet.
- For the purpose of the support of the education of the subject „UWB Wireless Sensor Network", e-learnig textbook Kocur, D.-Gamec, J.-Gamcová, M.-Rovňáková, J.-Urdzík, D.: UWB Wireless Sensor Network (in Slovak). Technická univerzita vKošiciach, 2011, has been developed.
- For the purpose of the support of the education of the subject „UWB Wireless Sensor Network", a set of measurement apparatuses and equipments enabling to arrange to measurement campaigns with UWB radars have been prepared.
- For the purpose of the support of the education of the subject „UWB Wireless Sensor Network", the MATLAB Toolbox Rovňáková, J. -Švecová, M.- Kocur, D.: Toolbox KEGA-UWB-2011. Technická univerzita vKošiciach, Košice, December 2011 has been developed. This Toolbox can be applied for processing of signals scanned by UWB radar signal networks for the purpose of the short-range detection and localization of moving targets.
The subject „UWB Wireless Sensor Network", which reflects the state-of-the art of the UWB Technologies, has been prepared based on the imaginative research and intensive international cooperation of the project UWB-BSS research team. The above outlined outputs of the project UWB-BSS will be applied not only within the subject „UWB Wireless Sensor Network" but also for the purpose of education of the further subjects provided at the Technical University of Košice (subjects: RF and Microwave Technologies, Spread Spectrum Transmission Systems, Communication Channel Modelling, etc.). The implementation of the UWB technologies possessing the great application potential in to the education process provided at the Slovak Republic can be considered to be the most important social profitability of the UWB-BSS project.
