ADEPT - 6th International conference on Advances in Electronic and Photonic Technologies

Introduction

The 6th international conference on Advances in Electronic and Photonic Technologies - ADEPT 2018 is focused on the latest results of research and development in area of novel materials, structures, devices and systems for micro/nano- electronics, sensoric and photonic solutions. Its goal is to bring together leading experts with young generation of researchers from universities, as well as institutes interested in progress of advanced technologies.

The objective of ADEPT conferences is to provide a forum for researchers, teachers and engineers involved in the general areas of electronics, photonics and material engineering to disseminate their latest research results, exchange views on the future research directions and create partnership for further fruitful collaboration in specified fields.

Conference Topics

The ADEPT 2018 provides platform for research community implementing new materials, structures, devices and circuits and their system integration for innovative electronics and photonics solutions.

• Advanced semiconductor materials technology and characterization methods
• Nanostructures and nanotechnologies
• Electronic devices and circuits design, modeling, simulation and testing
• Photonic devices and circuits design, modeling, simulation and testing
• Organic electronics
• Bio-materials, bio-electronics and bio-photonics
• Sensors and microsystems
• Application of electronic and photonic circuits and systems

Program

Time for invited - 40 min, contributed - 20 min and PhD student - 10 min including discussion is planned. We prefer Power Point presentation format.

The posters for poster presentation will be hanged on the wall in a frame and must be max 70 cm wide! By exceeding this scale you will not be able to hang your poster on the wall, so please be accurate. The height of the poster is not strictly limited (only wall hight is the limitation) but it is recommended to be max 100 cm for unification of all posters. Each poster will be subject to short (2 min) oral presentation. Especially for PhD student "best poster" competition it is required. Therefore, bring your posters in electronic form for projection on the screen during 2 min oral presentation.

The scientific program of the conference will be posted before March 30, 2018. The official language of the Conference is English and all contributions have to meet these criteria.

Publishing

All accepted papers will be published in the peer-reviewed Conference Proceedings. The conference participants will obtain the Conference Proceedings at the registration desk.
Extended versions of selected contributions will be considered for publication in the journal of Advances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering indexed in Scopus database.

Manuscripts must be written in English. The text body of the paper including tables, figures and references might not exceed 4 pages for regular contributions and 6 pages for invited lectures. The paper formatting for the Conference Proceedings is easy to follow in ADEPT2018 template. Authors are requested to submit the papers in an electronic form of the full text of the paper (*.doc, or *.rtf, only) to the e-mail address adept@fyzika.uniza.sk before May 14, 2018.
